Teaching and tutoring experience:
I am a highly experienced tutor for GCSE and A Level students for Religious Studies, Politics and Government and Philosophy. I also provide support to students preparing for other examinations, such as IB, and applying to U.K. universities, including Oxbridge.
I have taught students in the U.K. and aboard the full range of exam boards for my subjects, been an examiner and written specialist revision guides for A Level courses (find out more here: www.coopersrevisionguides.co.uk).
I also have experience tutoring students with SEND needs, including dyslexia, ADHD and mental health needs. I have also taught the whole course for my subjects to homeschooled students.
Teaching style and philosophy:
My approach to tuition focuses on building students' confidence and understanding of foundational concepts before advancing to more complex ideas and skills.
I adapt my teaching materials and style to fit students' unique interests and needs, including any SEND needs.
Additional information:
I work for an EdTech company and have worked for U.K. and Hong Kong-based tuition companies in tutoring and marketing roles.
I was Editor of a policy paper on the Future of Online Education for the Wilberforce Society.
I enjoy playing squash and doing ceramics.
