Teaching and tutoring experience:
I currently work as a Head of Music. I have a Master of Education from the University of Cambridge and also a PGCE and QTS from this establishment. I have over 5 years teaching in some of the best schools in the UK - Middle leadership from Churcher’s College, Dragon School Oxford Head of Curriculum, MCR President at Homerton College and Peer Reviewer at Cambridge Educational Research Journal. I have obtained Scholarships and Awards at every establishment I have worked in - for example, music scholarships, Outstanding contributions awards, Global opportunities awards etc. I also received HarvardX Leaders of learning.
Teaching style and philosophy:
Musician and educator Paul Harris's thought provoking book ‘Unconditional Teaching’ has made a profound impact on my attitude towards pedagogy. Whilst I am intending to primarily work for yourselves as an academic online music tutor - it is a praxial musical approach that has always been important to me in the music classroom.
