Teaching and tutoring experience

George has taught on numerous Summer Schools over the past few years, tutoring students of various ages and nationalities in a range of subjects and activities. He specialises in preparing students for Geography applications to Oxbridge, and has tutored a number of successful applicants in recent years. In addition, George tutors Geography, History, English, Economics, Programming and Mathematics at all levels from Common Entrance to A Level.

George has taught computer skills to large groups and individuals of the elderly community of the local community in Oxford, and as a result, was nominated for Vice-Chancellor’s 2018 Social-Impact Award. George also teaches bike safety courses, as well as teaching English and sanitation while volunteering abroad.

Additional information

George takes a keen interest in technology and is currently completing a LeWagon course in Computer Programming. He has worked in Asset Management where he researched Bitcoin and hopes to follow his interest in open source decentralised economic protocols, blockchain and Cryptoassets through his career. 

George is a sociable, outgoing character and is a keen sportsman. He enjoys playing cricket, tennis, swimming, rugby, squash, sailing, scuba diving, hockey, chess, fishing, shooting, food and travel!
