Teaching and tutoring experience:

I have ten years of teaching experience as a private tutor, university lecturer, and schoolteacher. In Moscow, I ran an art history department (2014–2018), and in England, I delivered art workshops in English colleges (2018–2020), worked as a museum education consultant (2020–present), and spoke about my pedagogical research at conferences (Association of Art Historians 2024, British Educational Research Association 2024). Since starting my PhD in 2021, I have designed an art history module for UCL and taught at The Courtauld Institute. In 2023, I was granted Teaching Fellowship in Higher Education. I enjoy teaching and working with young people, and tailoring approaches to individual needs.

Teaching style and philosophy:

I follow social constructivist approaches to classroom and seminar learning and favor active learning within group and individual sessions. My classes are structured and playful and fit to the specific learning objectives using a range of learning techniques - from talking and debating, to writing, and designing fast-fire responses to briefs.
