Teaching and tutoring experience:

I have been teaching for 7 years, and have been a Head of Physics for 4 years. I tutored one A level student through Y12 and Y13 in physics and further maths.

Teaching style and philosophy:

I love bringing whatever I teach back to real life applications to make the subject more engaging and memorable. I believe on spending lots of time mastering basics before moving onto difficult questions, and I pick up on important details that students need to remember for exams from looking at mark schemes carefully. Students might find those things more boring but I make sure they understand that it is important to put hard work into learning them (easy wins). In my job as a teacher and Head of Physics, I have a lot of experience in bringing students achieving C/D grades up to A/Bs.

Additional information:

I'm based in Finsbury Park, but work in Marylebone and am happy to go anywhere central and north London (up to zone 3).
