Teaching and tutoring experience:

I have experience in education for younger people through my work in the access department of the Oxford University African Caribbean Society. In my role as an executive of the committee, I helped organise shadowing days, personal statement sessions and access conferences. I have also tutored and mentored secondary school students. I worked as a mentor and personal statement assessor with Shuying Academy. I also taught myself for my IGCSEs (and was awarded all As and A*s.

Teaching style and philosophy:

I believe everyone has the ability to understand concepts, we all just have different paces of getting there. The important thing is understanding individuals' pathways, respecting that, and steering them purposefully in the right direction.

Additional information:

Education is one of my passions. My father insisted on me experiencing different parts of the world through travels, encyclopedias and modern art. This led me to my dream degree at my dream University and the amazing opportunities I have had since. I try to pass this on to as many young people as I can. I am also a multi-media visual artist, so I am able to speak to people from many different backgrounds. I love to travel, paint, learn new languages and write about film.

I am based in the UK and am willing to teach within London as well as online.
