Teaching and tutoring experience
Emily is an Oxford qualified doctor and is now in her second year training as a barrister. She has extensive experience tutoring students at all levels from 11+ entrance examinations to top senior schools through to final year medical students in preparation for their final examinations at Oxford and Imperial universities.
Emily is an experienced academic, having won the top scholarship to Wycombe Abbey School and then obtained a top First in her medical examinations at university. She specialises in teaching Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Mathematics at GCSE and A-Level, and also has experience tutoring students for the BMAT medical admissions tests for universities.
She also has a great deal of experience with younger students, and in recent years has guided students successfully through 11+ entrance examinations to Eton, Harrow, Wellington and Wycombe Abbey, as well as Common Entrance and scholarship examinations at 13+, covering all subjects.
Emily is a friendly, engaging and passionate tutor who loves instilling confidence in her tutees as well as supporting them throughout the strenuous examination processes.
Additional information
Emily is a qualified doctor and worked at St Mary's hospital in Paddington, specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
She is now training as a lawyer at BPP, looking to focus on pharmaceutical law in the future.
She is also a former international lacrosse player, having captained the Scotland U18 team.
