Rydes Hill is a private preparatory school and nursery based in Guildford.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assisting teachers in preparing lesson materials and equipment across a range of subjects including: Maths, English, Geography, R.E, Drama, Violin, P.E, Forest School.
· Maintaining safe and tidy classrooms.
· Working individually and in small groups with pupils on specific topics.
· Providing regular feedback to teachers on pupil progres
Teaching style and philosophy:
Alongside my professional experience, I support my two primary aged children daily with:

• English- Reading, Writing, Comprehension
• Handwriting
• General study skills
I also have a good understanding of Spanish, which can be woven into lessons where helpful.
Additional Strengths
I have a strong passion for children’s nutrition and wellbeing and am currently studying to become a Nutritional Therapist.
I also engage in ongoing learning through Dr Becky’s “Good Inside” platform, who is a child psychologist, where I’ve developed a deep understanding of assisting children with:

Additional information:
Aside from my interest in nutrition, I also enjoy exercise, walking, reading and am currently growing vegetables with my children. I believe passionately about children's movement and spending time outdoors and therefore many of our weekends have a focus on outdoor play, alongside sport and drama clubs.
