SENIOR TUTOR

 

Freddie has spent the last three years at Devonshire Hill Primary school teaching English, Maths, Science, PE and Humanities. He was the school leader for PE and Sport from 2014 - 2016, raising attainment in PE and increasing UKS2 participation in sport from 16% to 55%.

Freddie is a highly experienced 11+ tutor, having guided students in recent years through their respective applications to Eton, Harrow, Wellington, St Paul’s, Westminster, Francis Holland, Godolphin and Latymer and the Harrodian. He also specialises in 13+ school entrance exams, both Common Entrance and scholarship.

Freddie undertook his Teach First qualification at Devonshire Hill, specialising in teaching Years 5 and 6. In February 2016 he was selected by Teach First to form part of their Associate Tutor team, delivering professional development sessions to Teach First participants in July 2016.

Freddie is also an experienced A-Level tutor. Whilst at university, he tutored Religious Studies extensively to numerous AS and A-Level students, all of whom achieved top grades in their public exams.
 

Additional information

Freddie is a very keen sportsman, and has played cricket for the Blues whilst at Oxford University

He is currently taking time out of teaching to write a children’s book, which he hopes to have completed by the end of the year!
