Teaching and tutoring experience

Luke specialises in teaching Social Anthropology and Economics. He has recently taught Social Anthropology at university level to a candidate at LSE who achieved an average of 71 in Term Coursework, improving from an average of 63 in the previous year. He has a great deal of experience tutoring Economics AS and A Level to students at St Paul’s School and Harrow School over the past two years.

Luke has guided numerous students through their 11+ entrance exams to Francis Holland, Godolphin and Latymer and Notting Hill and Ealing School, specialising in Maths, English, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning. More recently, he has also taught Year 7 students English, Maths and Science in the build up to their Common Entrance examinations to Eton, Harrow and Wellington.

Additional information

Luke takes an interest in World Heritage issues, Current Affairs and Global Politics, and is familiar in with host of the UK's best museums and Heritage Sites. He is a keen sportsman, and has been on several expeditions and endurance challenges, as well as being a fully qualified PADI Scuba Dive Leader.

Luke is a very capable, patient and charismatic tutor and he relishes the opportunity to work with new families.
