Teaching and tutoring experience
Ellie has been tutoring extensively since 2009, before entering the teaching profession following her PGCE in 2012. She has had two state school placements since, and specialises in teaching Chemistry to both GCSE and A-Level students. Her students have achieved top grades in all public examinations to date, and she is equally confident tutoring Biology and Physics to GCSE students.
Ellie has also been appointed the Oxbridge Coordinator at her current school, James Allen’s Girls School in Dulwich, and as such she oversees all of the school’s applications to Oxford and Cambridge Universities.
Ellie also has experience with residential teaching positions, having spent 4 terrific weeks with a family in Italy in 2012. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the family and throwing herself into all activities with the children.
