Teaching and Tutoring Experience

Mel is a very experienced tutor, specialising in teaching English and History from 11+ to A-Level. She is currently working at Insight Education, with students preparing for their GCSEs and A-Levels in English Literature and History. She has also worked as a tutorial group leader and mock interviewer for Oxbridge Applications, London, with Oxford and Cambridge university applicants for humanities. She has classroom teaching experience, having worked at the Barcino Summer School in Barcelona, conducting language lessons and leading group excursions, as well as Technos College in Japan, where she taught classes about English culture.

Mel has had consistently positive feedback from clients, and has had great success with students that she has taught achieving top grades in their exams to date.
